The Fujairah Free Zone Authority is one of the UAE’s oldest free zones, established in 1987 next to the Port of Fujairah and covering about 4 million square metres.

Fujairah Free Zone Visa and Freelance Visa

- Complete a medical test at an approved Emirates Health Services centre.

Can You Open an Offshore Company in Fujairah Creative City?
Many international founders search for an “offshore company in Fujairah Creative City”. Strictly speaking, neither Creative City nor FFZA issues offshore licenses. They issue free zone licenses, which give you a real UAE company that can hold visas and open local bank accounts.
If you only need a holding or asset protection vehicle without visas or office, a true UAE offshore company is available through RAK ICC, Jebel Ali or Ajman. For most service businesses wanting residency, a Creative City company is the better and cheaper choice.
Is IFZA in Fujairah?

How to Register a Company in Fujairah Free Zone
- Pick your zone: FFZA for goods, Creative City for services and media.
- Choose activities and legal form: freelance, FZE, FZC or FZ-LLC.
- Reserve a trade name.
- Submit documents online and pass the security check.
- Sign your lease or virtual office agreement.
- Pay fees and receive your license, usually within five to ten working days.

- Mainland access: Service and online businesses can serve clients across the UAE. Shops, restaurants or local government contracts usually need a Fujairah or Dubai mainland company.
- Corporate tax: Register with the Federal Tax Authority. The 0% rate needs QFZP status, which includes audited accounts, even if your free zone does not demand an audit at renewal.
- VAT: Register once taxable supplies pass AED 375,000.
